The application of resilient butterfly valve is selected according to the required material conditions

Resilient butterfly valve is usually characterized by small size, light weight, good sealing performance, can achieve zero leakage. Resilient butterfly valve can be used in different occasions, we need to choose which kind of sealing material according to their own working conditions to use resilient butterfly valve.

The sealing surface material of the resilient butterfly valve is commonly EPDM, NBR and PTF. These three sealing materials adapt to different media, and the corresponding use occasions of the butterfly valve are not the same.

EPDM, applicable temperature -40~120, applicable media including water, steam and other weak acid alkaline medium, its advantages are ozone resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance, ethylene propylene diene rubber as the sealing surface of the resilient butterfly valve is widely used in construction, power generation, water conservancy and other fields.

NBR, applicable temperature -30~90, applicable medium such as water, oil, waste liquid and so on. Its advantages are good oil resistance, wear and heat resistance, strong adhesion; Disadvantages are low temperature resistance, poor ozone resistance, poor insulation performance, slightly lower elasticity. The resilienting butterfly valve with nitrile rubber as the sealing surface is used in lubricating oil, oil, aviation, automobile, printing, textile and machinery manufacturing.

PTFE, applicable temperature -196~200, suitable medium is some corrosive liquid, its advantages are heat resistance, cold resistance, resistance to general chemical solvents and almost all liquids. With PTFE as the sealing surface of the resilient butterfly valve is widely used in chemical industry, petrochemical, oil refining, chemical fiber, non-ferrous smelting and other fields.
