This seal has good sealing performance, but it is not resistant to high temperature, easy to wear and poor mechanical property. Such as: steel + rubber, steel + PTFE, etc. Resilient refers to the side of the seal pair is made of materials with low hardness. Generally, the resilient seat is made of non-metallic materials with certain strength, hardness and temperature resistance. The sealing performance is relatively good and can be made to zero leakage, but the life and adaptability to temperature are poor.

The mental seat is made of metal, and the sealing performance is relatively poor. Resilient for some corrosive materials can not meet the process requirements, mental seat can be solved. These two kinds of seals can complement each other, in terms of tightness, resilient is relatively good, but now the tightness of mental seat can also meet the corresponding requirements. The advantage of resilient is good sealing performance, the disadvantage is easy to aging, wear, short service life. The service life of mental seat is long, but the tightness is worse than that of soft seal.
