Butterfly valve commonly used non-metallic materials

1. Butadiene rubber: Butadiene rubber is generally used as the seat material of butterfly valve, and its temperature resistance is not very good, so the manufactured butterfly valve is generally not used in high temperature environment. Dante rubber has good abrasion resistance and deformation resistance.

2. Ethylene propylene rubber: The temperature range of ethylene propylene rubber is similar to that of butyl acrylic rubber, but the temperature upper limit is one or twenty degrees higher than that of butyl acrylic rubber, and it is also mainly used as the manufacturing material for the valve seat of butterfly valve. Its advantages are good insulation performance, good ozone resistance, and inorganic media will not react. Therefore, butterfly valves made of ethylene propylene rubber are generally used for the transportation of water and alcohol pipelines.

3. Polytetrafluoroethylene: polytetrafluoroethylene has excellent temperature resistance and strong resistance to chemicals, which is commonly known as strong corrosion resistance. However, due to the special needs of some butterfly valves, polytetrafluoroethylene will be improved to cancel its insulation properties, so that the insulation properties of polytetrafluoroethylene can not be guaranteed.
